our story

Founded in 2004. Built for the Long Term.

Air Conditioning Centre was established in October 2004 with a single import deal and a clear vision: to bring the world's best climate control systems to the UK market at an affordable price.

In April 2005, Martin Industries Group was formed as the parent company to provide long-term strength and sustainability to our rapidly expanding operations. Based on the South Coast of England, we became the exclusive UK importer and European distributor of premium air conditioning and air treatment systems.

By 2006 we were already among the first UK companies to adopt RoHS regulations, R410a ozone-friendly refrigerant, and reduced-carbon manufacturing techniques - commitments that remain central to everything we do today.

In August 2024 we celebrated 20 years in business, and in March 2025 we were awarded the National ACR IAQ Innovation Award for the second consecutive year.
